For the first time, the NATO Medical Evaluation (MEDEVAL) course was conducted on U.S. soil, hosted by the 4th Security Force Assistance Brigade (4SFAB). Over the course of two weeks, two iterations of the MEDEVAL course took place, marking a significant milestone in NATO's medical collaboration with its allied partners.
It is our pleasure to announce that registration for the NATO-approved training solution, titled "Military Global Health Engagement (MGHE) course" to be held in Budapest, Hungary, on 24-28 February 2025 is open.
Registration open! NATO MILMED COE's biyearly Force Health Protection Hybrid Event will take place on-line and in-person in Munich on 05-07 November 2024.
From 22-26 July, NATO Medical Evaluations of civil emergency medical services, such as: Emergency Departments, SMURD ground and air Ambulances, and the County Public Ambulance Services in Targu Mures and Piatra Neamt were conducted by a team of certified NATO Medical Evaluators under the lead of LTC (ret) Oscar Meijboom from NATO Centre of Exellence for Military Medicin (MILMED COE) in Budapest.

The Major Incident Hospital of the Ministry of Defence and UMC Utrecht in The Netherlands hosted the Department of Energy’s International Medical Management of Radiation Injuries (I-Med) course that took place from 3 till 7 June 2024.
The 3-day NATO Major Incident Medical Management and Support (MIMMS) course is a crucial training for personnel involved in major incident planning and response. As the only international standard in major incident medical management, it is taught and practiced globally, incorporated into both civilian and military medical procedures.
