„Simulation in Pre-hospital Care” Workshop 14-15 June 2011

NATO MILMED COE intends to actively use military medical simulation systems as the most powerful new training method in its courses first of all during annually conducted Emergency Management of Battlefield Injuries (EMBI) course and depending on capabilities in the First Responder Trainer training.


MILMED COE: an Important Waypoint on the Field Trip of ICAF Students


On 5th May 2011, a group of students from the American Industrial College of the Armed Forces (ICAF) visited – already as a tradition after their trip last year – MILMED COE. The aim of the visit – organised in cooperation with the Embassy of the United States in Budapest – was to provide the students with a briefing on the basic principles and objectives of Centres of Excellence working for NATO, with particular stress on MILMED COE.


5th Steering Committee Meeting

2-3 May 2011, Budapest, Hungary

The 5th Steering Committee (SC) Meeting of MILMED COE was held on 2-3 May 2011 in Budapest. The Sponsoring Nations, namely the Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Italy, The Netherlands, Romania and a representative of NATO COMEDS gather twice a year to discuss and decide on the annual Programme of Work (POW) and annual budget of MILMED COE.
