Exactly on the second anniversary of the accreditation and activation of the NATO Centre of Excellence for Military Medicine (MILMED COE) by the North Atlantic Council (NAC) the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) amendment concerning the integration of the Deployment Health Surveillance Capability (DHSC) and the joining of France was formally signed by the Sponsoring Nations (SN) on 12 October 2011 in Norfolk, Virginia.

3rd NATO Medical Evaluation (MEDEVAL) Course

The NATO Centre of Excellence for Military Medicine (MILMED COE) successfully organized the COE-MED-M4-003 NATO Medical Evaluation (MEDEVAL) Course for the third time. The course was conducted from 26 until 30 September 2011 in Budapest and was attended by students from 10 nations (CZE, DEU, HUN, NLD, NOR, MKD, SWE, SRB, USA) divided in two syndicates.

"Vigorous Warrior 2011 (VW2011)" Evaluation Conference

The “Vigorous Warrior 2011 (VW2011)” Evaluation Conference (EC) was held on 20-21 September 2011 at MILMED COE in Budapest, Hungary, with the contribution of nations that have participated in the Exercise “VW2011”: Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hungary and The Netherlands. The aim of the conference was to evaluate the lessons identified during the multinational medical display held in June.
